Khishignyam (Veronica) Altangerel

Veronica started volunteering at the ReStore in March 2010, and she immediately put her previous retail and service experiences to work. In her four months of weekly service, she has created a better inventory tracking spreadsheet, sorts nuts and bolts, and keeps things clean behind the check-out counter. "She’s one of the sharpest tools in our box" says Frank Atkins, ReStore Manager. Veronica's service demonstrates the great impact that consistently good volunteers have on the quality of our service. ReStore Coordinator Adrionna Fike praises Veronica's efforts, noting that "she’s great because she makes other volunteers better. She helps our staff shine brighter. We know that when Veronica comes to work something fantastic will manifest by the end of the day." Beyond the ReStore, Veronica dedicates her time to the construction site as well. Her dedication to the various aspects of HEB has made our community stronger.
