Bay Point Ground Breaking CeremonyJoin us July 31st from 10:30am-11:30am, as Habitat East Bay holds a ground breaking ceremony at the nine-home El Rincon development in Bay Point. The ceremony will mark the completion of infrastructure work and kick-off the beginning of volunteer opportunities.
Neighborhood Revitalization InitiativeHabitat for Humanity East Bay has been selected as one of the top affiliates in the nation to participate in a new and innovative program called the Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative (NRI). As a partner in the program Habitat East Bay will receive grants that will help us take a holistic approach to building stronger communities while also revitalizing neighborhoods more efficiently.
Rehab Dedication - Bay PointHabitat East Bay staff, volunteers and supporters gathered on Surfview Drive to dedicate another home in Bay Point. The home is yet another example of the Contra Costa County Neighborhood Stabilization Program transforming foreclosured houses into affordable homeownership opportunities.
Global Village Trip - El SalvadorThis May, Habitat East Bay staff, volunteers and supporters participated in a Global Village trip to support our Global Investment partner, Habitat El Salvador. The trip was part of a series of trips aimed at strengthening and supporting the investment in our sister affiliate.
