Muffy Mallory

Go to gallery -> Muffy Mallory first volunteered with Habitat East Bay on January 19th - this year's annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. Since then she has become an essential office volunteer assisting with Volunteer Programs. "Muffy's dedication to helping us out is invaluable," says Megan Sallabedra, Volunteer Coordinator, who works closely with Muffy in her weekly shifts at the Downtown Oakland office. "Her contribution allows us to be organized and efficient - the scope of our Volunteer Program is better because of what she is able to accomplish." We are incredibly lucky to have Muffy as part of our HEB volunteer team. Read about Muffy's experience, in her own words.

Steve Eales

Go to gallery -> While it is not uncommon for our staff to volunteer for Habitat East Bay when they're "off the clock," Stephen Eales demonstrates this best of all. Steve served an AmeriCorps year with the National Civilian Conservation Corps (NCCC) before joining our 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 AmeriCorps teams, becoming our first and only AmeriCorps member to selflessly serve three terms of national service.
