Fundraising Information

Philanthropy and service go hand-in-hand. By fundraising to support your building efforts, you'll deepen your involvement and increase your investment in these homes and in our community.

We know we're asking you to put yourself out there... Asking friends, neighbors, coworkers, and family for financial support is not an easy thing to do. But experience shows that, more often than not, they'll be honored that you asked, and pleased to contribute.

In these current times, more and more people are embracing national service and rallying around those in need. With the increasing role that non-profit organizations are playing to solve our neighborhoods' toughest problems, pledge-raising events are gaining popularity. Chances are your supporters have been asked before to support an event, such as a walk-a-thon or bike-a-thon. Won't they be energized to know that, in addition to raising pledges for Habitat for Humanity East Bay, you'll actually be building houses!

We make it easy. We provide you with a personalized fundraising web page, through which your supporters can donate. We provide you with a fundraising coach who will offer support, tips, and encouragement.

$200 is well within reach, even in these challenging economic times. And for those who go above and beyond raising the minimum... Pledge prizes!

Fundraising is not a requirement of a typical build day with us. If you would like to build but would prefer not to fundraise, please sign up for a typical build day; opportunities take place throughout the year, and we welcome your help. But if you would like to step up to the challenge, and double your impact, please join us for the 2011 Earth Day Build-A-Thon!
